Twin brothers have a one-of-a-kind experience during the state's youth elk hunt last weekend. Follow the details on "Kentucky Afield" television this weekend, October 2 and 3.
Fourteen-year-old John McKenny of Mt. Eden was one of five youngsters drawn to participate in this year's youth elk hunt. Of course, the hunting party wouldn't be complete without his brother, Ben.
Host Tim Farmer follows these young hunters into the mountains of the Paul Van Booven Wildlife Management Area in Breathitt County, and finds they do more than finish each other's sentences. They finish the day with a magnificent bull elk.
