Pegasus Sports Network Announces 2014 Football Broadcast Schedule, Online Video and Cable TV Coverage of Local Teams

The Pegasus Sports Network (“PSN”) is proud to announce some exciting new changes as it begins its 36th season covering high school sports in Oldham County.

The addition of video to the online internet coverage and local cable television coverage are just two of the exciting changes.

As always, all PSN broadcasts will air LIVE on www.pegasussportsky.com. In addition, all broadcasts will be archived on the website, indefinitely. 1980 Oldham County HS grad Mike Montgomery returns as the play-by-play Voice of the Colonels, Dragons, and Mustangs and is joined again in the broadcast booth by veteran announcer Scott Jaggers.

All games will be preceded by a thirty-minute pregame show sponsored by CPA firm Mountjoy, Chilton, and Medley.

In addition, Pegasus Sports will welcome former OCHS, SOHS, and NOHS players and coaches as weekly guest announcers.

New, however, are the following:

All broadcasts will be on INTERNET – TV (video) so viewers can see, as well as hear, the action. Pegasus Sports, working with broadcast partners LiveSportscaster and BoxCast, will be offering live video over the internet for a nominal monthly fee of $9.99. “Internet Radio” broadcasts will continue to be available for free.
In addition, all broadcasts will also be aired for free on a delayed basis on Oldham County’s cable channel 25. On Saturdays after the game, the broadcast will air at 7 pm on channel 25; on Sundays through Fridays, the game will be replayed on channel 25 at 10 pm.
Every Wednesday night at 8 pm on www.pegasussportsky.com, PSN will present a weekly sports show, featuring Mike Montgomery and Oldham Era Sports Editor Brad Stephens. Mike and Brad will discuss the previous week’s games, look ahead to the upcoming games, and interview various coaches and players. The Wednesday night show will be part of the monthly internet video fee.
