Pegasus Sports announces broadcasts for the week of 2/3/14....

The Pegasus Sports Network will air two boys' basketball games this week.

On Tuesday, 2/4/14, PSN will broadcast the North Oldham Mustang - South Oldham Dragon game live from Goshen, KY.    This is a critical 29th District seeding game; the Dragons cinch the #1 seed for the post-season tournament with a win.   Should the North Oldham Mustangs win, the #1 seed will remain up for grabs.   If North then defeats Trimble County in the final seeding game of the regular season, there would be a three-way tie for the #1 seed between South Oldham, North Oldham, and Oldham County.   The three-way tiebreaker would be the team with the highest Litkenhous ranking in the final Litkenhous poll.

If the season ended today, South would claim the #1 seed by virtue of a slight Litkenhous advantage over Oldham County, however, much can change between now and the end of February.

On Friday, 2/7/14, the powerful Simon Kenton Pioneers invade Buckner, KY for a showdown with the Oldham County Colonels.   This will provide a key glimpse into how the 8th Region tournament might shake out; SK is the favorite to win the 32nd District, and could play Oldham County as early as the first round of the region tournament.

Both games will be aired LIVE, beginning with a pre-game show at 7 pm ET.   Both games will also be archived by the next morning, and can be heard at anytime after that.
